Indian star batsman Virat Kohli is going through probably the roughest patch of his career. But he hit David Willey for a massive six in the 3rd T20I match between India and England.
England batted first on the batting-friendly pitch of Edgbaston and put up a huge score of 215/7 in front of India in 20 overs.
India didn’t get a good start and lost the wicket of Rishabh Pant on an individual 1 run. Crowd’s favorite Kohli entered the ground with a huge cheer from the crowd.
Virat was looking in good touch from the very first ball. After looking at a couple of deliveries he went for the attack.
He took on David Willey and hit a four on mid-wicket after stepping out from the crease. But on the very next ball, Virat hit an eye-catching, glamorous six straight down the ground. He made some room for himself to free his arms and went straight and the ball sailed over the boundary rope.
Though Kohli couldn’t convert this start into a big one and got out on the very next ball of hitting a boundary. Kohli wanted to hit it over cover but the ball went straight to Jason Roy.
Though Kohli’s lean patch is not showing any intention to leave him away, the glorious six from him won the heart of every cricket fan, presented on the ground.
