Indian Swing star Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed England captain Jos Buttler with an absolute jaffa.
India is taking on England in the 1st T20I at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. With the help of Hardik Pandya’s glorious half-century and contributions from middle-order batters, India set up a target of 199 in front of the hosts.
Bhuvneswar Kumar gave a massive blow to England when he dismissed in-form Jos Buttler with an absolute blinder in the very first over.
The in-swinger of Bhuvi came back too quickly that Buttler couldn’t handle. The ball crashed onto his stumps after touching Buttler’s pads. Eventually, Jos had to return to the pavilion on a golden duck.
England is currently 5/1 after 2 overs. The debutant Arshdeep Singh also got a great start as he bowled the first maiden over. From England’s point of view, David Malan and Jason Roy are at the crease now. They will look to build a partnership from here and take the team to a strong position.
