Medium pacer Shardul Thakur will be seen playing in purple jersey from next year in IPL.
Franchise Delhi Capitals traded Shardul Thakur to Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of retention deadline (15th november). Delhi had bought Shardul Thakur for whopping 10.75 crore INR. Before that Shardul Thakur was the part of Delhi-led Chennai Super Kings.
Prior to Shardul’s deal, Kolkata took Lockie Ferguson & Gurbaz from Gujarat Titans. Talking about other teams, Chennai Super Kings retained all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and released Chris Jordon, Mitchell Santner & Adam Milne before the retention deadline.
Furthermore Evin Lewis and Andrew Tye are set to be released by Lucknow Supergiants ahead of Mini Auction 2023. Punjab Kings have the highest remaining purse. They have Rs 3.45 Cr. Chennai is second on the list. They have Rs 2.95 Cr remaining in their purse.
