BCCI announced squad for the first T20 match against England

India’s 3 matchesTt20 series against England will start from 7th July followed by 3 matches ODI series. Before that India will play 5th and final test against England starting from 1st July.

Indian team recently played 2 matches T20 series against Ireland in which they clean swept the hosts. The squad was captained by Hardik Pandya and the remaining players were Bhuvneshwar Kumar (vc), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi, Deepak Hooda, Venkatesh Iyer, Axar Patel, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi.

The same squad will play 1st T20 match against England and the top players who are the part of 5th test match squad will join Indian team from second t20 match. A source said the squad that played against Ireland will play England in first t20 match and all the stars players like Rohit, Kohli, Pant, Bumrah will make comeback from the second T20 game.

After they will have a proper rest, they will be ready to join India’s white ball team but most of the players who were the part of series against Ireland will remain till the end of the t20 series. India defeated Ireland in both the games. In the last game, Deepak Hooda smashed a century and became the forth Indian cricketer to do so in T20I cricket.

Sanju Samson also played a stupendous innings of 77 runs and India managed to score a colossal total of 225 runs. However Irish team fought really well and lost the match by a little margin of 4 runs.
