Team India has announced their ODI squad for the 3 match series against Windies. The tour will start with an ODI on 22th July 2022, followed by five T20 Matches.
Main players such as Virat Kohli , skipper Rohit Sharma and lead bowler Jasprit Bumrah are few of of the notable misses from the india squad which will play 3 odi against west indies and rightly so considering India’s hectic schedule and managing workload of their all format players. Deepak chahar and kuldeep yadav misses out due to injury.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar too is sidelined due to his lack of form in ODI’S. Deepak hooda and sanju samson have been awarded a national call up due to their rich form in t20 format. In the recently concluded ipl ,hooda was one of the standout players and he can bowl some off spin too so it was just a matter of time for him getting a call up in the national squad. In the recent past india has struggled due to not having a 6th bowling option.
