Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam reacted unexpectedly in the press conference when he was asked about how he was feeling after breaking Indian Star Virat Kohli’s record.
Two great batsmen of modern time and two huge fanbases of them – a rivalry is always there between the fans of India’s Virat Kohli and Pakistan’s Babar Azam on proving who’s the best.
Babar has recently broken Kohli’s record to be in the top position of the T20I Ranking for the longest time. Previously this record was held by Virat who had been in the top for 1013 days.
The Pakistan captain was asked about this achievement ahead of the Pakistan – Sri Lanka series. But he seemed to be unaware of this achievement.
He stopped the reporter and asked which record he broke of Virat Kohli, when the reporter asked him that he had two questions and the first one was about breaking the record that was previously held by Kohli. Then Babar was informed about his achievement to which he replied “all right”. Babar added that it was the result of hard work that has helped him to do good performances and he wanted to thank God for this.
Pakistan will fly to Sri Lanka on 6th July to play a two-match test series. He expected his pacers to show their caliber there and it won’t be easy for the Sri Lankan batters to face their strong bowling lineup.
