James Anderson is recovering after missing the 3rd test against New Zealand and getting a speedy recovery before the much more important India vs England test match.
England is all set to face India for the fifth and final test of the rescheduled series that was postponed the previous summer. James Anderson was ruled out from the last test match due to his ankle injury and couldn’t be part of the clean sweep celebration over the Black Caps.

But the 39 years old pacer has informed that he is getting recovered well and the pain in his ankle is much less than before. He doesn’t want to miss the test match against India. Jimmy has also told that he usually spends much better times in the fields compared to the time he spends normally and he enjoys the game to its fullest. He also told that he wanted to be with the group in Headingley but that couldn’t happen. It was disappointing for him to miss the match.
He has also informed about the improvement of his injury and told he is feeling much better and will get two practice sessions. If he can get through that he will take the field on Friday against India.
England has started their training at Edgbaston from Wednesday. Indian team has been preparing in England for a week to adapt to the condition. India is currently leading the series by a 2-1 margin. The stage is set for the much-awaited test match. Now the countdown begins
